Today the children helped to decorate our classroom with a tree, decorations, lights and tinsel! We also counted all the sounds and tricky bugs we have learnt so far…. wow how clever are we?!

Grayling Foundation looked amazing dressed up as many different kind people including doctors, family members, firemen and themselves. Today we explored some outdoor areas of our school and discovered the pond area! We used our senses to look for animal homes, nature and we even found a door belonging to a mouse (or the tooth fairy!). We cannot wait to visit the pond again and explore some other areas later this week.

This week, we began dough gym and we all love exercising our fingers and hands! I am so proud at how organised the children are at coming into class, finding their place and beginning their dough gym tasks independently.

Today the children created some bright firework artwork to celebrate bonfire night. During discussions, they were very sensible recognising how to stay safe whilst enjoying fireworks and sparklers.
