WWF Earth Hour
This Saturday 26th March businesses, governments and millions of people around the world will stand together to show they care about the future of our planet.
Earth Hour starts at 8.30pm – 9.30pm UK time.
You can do your hour anytime during the evening that best suits you.
Each year, Earth Hour reminds us that even small steps actions can add up to make a big difference. Whether by switching off your lights, taking steps to reduce your environmental footprint, or spending some time to reconnect with nature, you can join a global movement to inspire change.

Sea Life Centre
We all had a fantastic time at the Sea Life Centre seeing the seals, penguins and touch a star fish. We learned loads about protecting our oceans and how important they are for marine life.
Plastic Oceans – Win a Litter Picker!
Theodore and Freddie produced these amazing facts about our oceans and the affects of plastic. They each won a litter picker of Mr Moore. Mr Moore looks forward to seeing photos of them using their litter pickers cleaning up the streets, countryside and beaches.
If you would like to win a litter picker off Mr Moore and Mrs Beasley you can for example bring in a poster of how people can reduce single use plastic at home, some facts about plastic and the affects on our oceans and countryside, how we can look after our world better, a creative college picture using litter, some photos of your litter picking on the beach and recording what you find. You may have your own idea too. Each week Mr Moore and Mrs Beasley will choose some winners. Good Luck!
